Drainage Design Team Leader Opportunity

A challenging role has become available for an experienced Drainage Design Team Leader to join our Transportation team at our Design Office based in Salford, Manchester. In this position, you'll specialize in highways drainage, with additional expertise in water utilities and Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) matters. This role within Kier Design Services offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing fee estimates and programmes from client briefing statements.
  • Leading the team through technically challenging projects and/or solutions.
  • Ensuring latest design standards and lessons learnt are applied to projects and risk management in undertaken in relation to project delivery.
  • Building strong relationships with all clients (internal and external) and stakeholders to continue building on the current reputation.

Requirements:

  • Chartered/Incorporated Engineer
  • Civil Engineering degree - or a similar combination of qualifications and/or experience
  • Experience in a similar role and successfully leading teams
  • Project management qualification and/or experience
