Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Nurse to join our team at Operose Health. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our nursing staff to deliver high-quality services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with regional nursing, operational, and GP team members to ensure all targets are met in line with current guidelines and standards within national service frameworks.
  • Act within your professional boundaries to provide care for presenting patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
  • Support the Regional Lead Nurse and act as a deputy as required to ensure a high level of quality and standards at all times.
Requirements
  • First-level UK registered nurse or registered AHCP with at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
  • Non-medical Prescriber.
  • Demonstrates sound evidence of academic links.
  • Extensive clinical experience in Primary Care Health settings and managing nursing teams.
  • Understanding of the Lead Role.
