Global Banking Chief Operating Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Banking Chief Operating Officer to join our team at Allen & Overy LLP.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with the Global Banking Practice Partners to achieve the strategic aims of the business.
- Take a lead role in the development and implementation of the Global Banking Strategy.
- Agree and prioritise issues for the Co-heads of Global Banking.
- Provide analysis and consistent financial reporting and control to the Co-heads of Global Banking.
- Review the budgets and investment plans submitted by the Banking groups globally.
- Prepare and assess business cases for lateral partner proposals and financial projections of proposed partner promotions and equity progression.
- Provide guidance on equity planning, allocation of discretionary points, and management in the wider Banking practice.
- Manage the global Banking partner compensation process.
- Support the partner review process globally.
- Help prepare our internal Banking partner candidates for the firm's partnership selection process.
- Lead key strategic projects for the Global Banking practice.
- Coordinate Banking participation in firmwide projects.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role in a financial services organisation.
- Strong financial management and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
