Job Title: Chief Operating Officer

Conciliation Resources is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer to lead the organisation's global operations, finance, and governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the organisation's 6 offices, managing a team of senior staff, and contributing to the organisational leadership as a member of the Executive Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the organisation's global operations, including finance, governance, and risk management.
  • Lead the organisational support teams, comprising Finance, Governance, Human Resources, and Facilities, Safety and Compliance, and IT.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the organisation's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and other senior management to drive organisational change and development.
  • Represent the organisation at Board and committee meetings, providing expert advice on finance, governance, and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Advanced practical knowledge of global organisational management, operations, finance, and governance.
  • Experience overseeing support teams across multiple countries, including high-risk locations.
  • Strong financial, numeracy, and Excel skills, including accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to operate complex financial systems.
  • Excellent line management skills, with the ability to work across a multi-disciplinary team of senior staff in multiple locations.
  • Proven ability to think and operate strategically, with excellent organisational leadership and management skills.
