Job Title: Live-In Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Live-In Care Assistant. As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will provide non-medical support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence in their own homes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Personal care, including continence support, washing, and dressing
  • Medication management
  • Meal preparation
  • Home help, including cleaning and maintaining the general upkeep of the house
  • Companionship, supporting overall wellbeing

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's, challenging behavior, dementia, and neurological conditions
  • Ability to drive a mobility car
  • Driver's license

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in care
  • Ability to treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work professionally with Home Instead office teams and other healthcare professionals
  • Respect for individuals with diverse backgrounds and beliefs
  • Ability to follow instructions and seek guidance when needed
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Good hygiene practice and a smart appearance
  • Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body
  • Class 1 business insurance (if using own car for business purposes)
