About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our team, responsible for the pricing and execution of pension de-risking transactions. As a key member of our multi-award-winning team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise Actuarial Analysts in providing bulk annuity and longevity quotes to pension schemes, ensuring timely, efficient, and proactive support to Pricing Managers and Directors.
  2. Review and supervise quotations produced by Actuarial Analysts, seeking support from Pricing Managers or Directors for complex or larger transactions.
  3. Ensure all quotes are produced with the highest level of accuracy and within Legal & General's pricing model, with a focus on capital and pricing models.
  4. Maintain quality and governance throughout the quotes process.
Requirements
  1. Previous actuarial modelling experience in a pension consultancy environment, life insurer, or de-risking provider.
  2. Knowledge of Defined Benefit Pension Schemes or pricing and capital modelling.
  3. Experience in project/deal-based teams, including delegation to junior team members.
  4. Ability to work quickly and accurately without compromising quality.
  5. Strong project management and time management skills.
