Isolation Coordinator Specialist

At Tarmac, we're committed to creating a dynamic and inclusive environment where our people come from diverse backgrounds. We're currently seeking an experienced Isolation Coordinator to join our team at our Tunstead Quarry in Derbyshire.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure contractor isolations meet business standards and drive value in other areas.
- Develop and control the isolation process for all contractors attending site.
- Work cross-functionally to arrange isolation requirements and communicate with the wider team.
- Be the blaster champion for the site, ensuring full visibility of operational performance and SAP work orders are raised and scheduled.
- Drive and develop the isolation committee and review process for both simple and complex isolations.
- Identify and drive improvements of onsite isolation points.
- Support and contribute to the permit process during shutdown periods.
- Attend daily and weekly meetings, supervising teams of contractors as needed.
- Control and maintain isolation equipment and stock levels.
- Attend daily performance meetings to identify defective operational conditions and provide feedback.
- Proven experience working in a Cement, Chemical, mining, quarrying, or heavy industrial environment with a strong safety approach.
- Strong IT and communication skills, particularly with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- NEBOSH and/or IOSH Managing Safely certification is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
- Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
- Sound knowledge of the isolation process.
