Overview

This role will report directly into the head of Merchant strategy, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the organization while working closely with senior management.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to key aspects of strategy development and execution, evaluation of new business opportunities, operational excellence and effectiveness, evaluation of ongoing business performance, and financial planning
  • Assist in key aspects of strategy development and execution across multiple business units
  • Prepare presentation materials for the senior leadership team and the board of directors
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and identify and evaluate new business opportunities
  • Model financial and operations aspects of existing businesses
  • Work closely with business heads to create business plans and monitor ongoing performance
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field is required. 2 to 4 years of experience within energy, power, industrials, infrastructure, or utilities, ideally in investing or investment banking, is also required. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) are essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, are also necessary.
