About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Specification Sales Manager to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and growing sales in conjunction with our direct and distribution sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage nominated and geographical mechanical consultants to achieve sales targets and develop new business
  • Target and identify new/potential customers (M&E, consultants) and promote product and project design support
  • Achieve sales targets and develop new business by offering guidance and assistance on the correct use and application of our products
  • Promote all Carrier USPs and prepare weekly/monthly update reports charting customer progress and highlighting new business to your line manager
  • Ensure regular customer contact, secure orders, and develop enquiries
  • Collect and report industry knowledge and competitor analysis

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of VRF and split systems
  • Strong sales background in HVAC, specifically VRF market, dealing with consultants, M&E, and AC contractors
  • Strong client relationships, competitor knowledge, and UK driving license
  • IT literate with MS Office skills, good communication and negotiating skills, and time management and organisational skills
