About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Careers and Employability Advisor to join our team at Ayrshire College. As a key member of our Careers and Employability Team, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, efficient, and effective Careers and Employability service to our college customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the full range of Employability activities for students, including workshops, one-to-one careers and employability support, and collaborative work with curriculum teams and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development, delivery, and evaluation of the College's Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEAIG) strategy and activities.
  • Support the integration of digital technologies and maintain a high-quality administrative process.
  • Provide excellent customer service, advice, and guidance to students, staff, and external clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification to HNC level or equivalent, or relevant experience in a related environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the UCAS application process, key partnership stakeholders, and local authority employability services.
  • Comprehensive experience in providing support to young people and/or adults with additional support needs, preferably within a further education environment.
  • Evidence of providing excellent customer service, advice, and guidance.
