Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate design activities to achieve departmental goals within set timeframes and budgets.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Establish work plans and staffing for design projects, assigning design personnel as needed.
- Confer with design staff to outline work plans and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Review status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.
Requirements:
- Extensive design experience across various industries, including Offshore, Subsea, Marine, and Onshore Structural Design & Fabrication.
- Proven business experience and skills, with excellent supervisory and leadership qualities.
- Ability to manage a multi-disciplined team of engineers and support staff, identifying resource requirements and managing same.
- Proficient in identifying and conceptualizing innovative engineering solutions, with the ability to coach and mentor team members.
