Maintenance and Repair Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Recruit Mint Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our process equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- To maintain and repair process equipment to ensure high standards of performance and efficiency.
- To perform electrical setup and production support tasks to meet factory performance goals.
- To identify and repair faults in equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- To work safely and be aware of factory safety issues at all times.
- To perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan and reduce maintenance costs.
- To fabricate and install plant and machinery under supervision.
Requirements
- A recognized electrical apprenticeship (City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
- Experience of production equipment maintenance in a diverse factory environment.
- Electrically biased role with good diagnostic skills.
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
- Extrusion experience is preferable.
- A higher qualification (e.g. ONC/HNC) or equivalent experience.
- Computer literacy (stores systems and maintenance management systems).
Working Hours
You will work a 4 on 6 off shift pattern, with 143 rostered 12-hour shifts per annum. This includes 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts, and 6 days off. The company will aim to give at least 2 weeks' notice if a change to the published roster is required.
