About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at Bekaert UK&I. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing customer engagement and sales in the prefabricated concrete industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the entire sales process, from design to closing the deal, for Dramix steel fiber reinforcement in the prefabricated concrete industry.
  • Build strong relationships with big and medium precast producers of structural and non-structural concrete elements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of reinforced concrete design, norms, and standards, construction methods, and building materials.
  • Identify opportunities for precasters and create value for our customers and the entire chain through strong project consultancy and advisory skills.
  • Manage the budget, provide monthly forecasting and reporting, and draw up profile reports for key customers.
  • Travel regularly within Great Britain to meet with customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in the concrete industry and 5+ years of sales experience, preferably at precast manufacturers, connections or fastener companies serving precast manufacturers, or contractors.
  • Civil engineer/designer or commercial manager with a strong technical orientation and interest in keeping up to date with technical materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Solid commercial awareness, norms and regulations awareness, and good knowledge of business and market trends.
  • Strong value selling skills, based on listening, inquiry, plant visits, and analysis.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering with knowledge in reinforced concrete design.
  • Fluency in English.
