About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team at Young's Seafood. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and resource availability.
  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress and key milestones, utilizing verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, and report and escalate issues to management as necessary.
  • Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders, and perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors, create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, and produce monthly status reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical) from an accredited institution.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, proficiency in relevant software/tools, and familiarity with industry standards.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and devise effective solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven track record of successful teamwork.
  • Critical thinking, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.
