The FPGA team is part of the global Productivity Engineering group which is responsible for delivering and supporting FPGA platforms at Arm - enabling designs debug and deployment of advanced pre-silicon verification methodologies. These system solutions target a wide range of market segments like mobile, server, IoT & automotive.

 

What you could be doing as an Intern:

You will work alongside some of the world’s best engineers developing flows used to build and run FPGA images needed to perform accelerated verification of ARM IP products. These flows also include support for performing debug on FPGA systems to allow IP designers to debug any design errors exposed through this accelerated verification. Other responsibilites will include:

  1. Development and deployment of FPGA image creation and debug flows
  2. Automation of FPGA flows such that they can be deployed to the user community.
  3. Manual intervention or support by the FPGA team
  4. Provide support for the FPGA service to the service owners.
  5. Installation and maintenance of FPGA hardware.
  6. Collaboration with EDA vendors to drive requirements for next generation FPGA hardware and tools.

 

We're looking for individuals who are:
Studying towards a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other relevant subject. Other degree types may be considered with relevant experience.

 

Qualities that will help your application stand out:

  1. Knowledge and experience of FPGA technologies.
  2. Knowledge of RTL hardware design flow and methodology.
  3. Pro-active and self-motivated, independent problem solver, technically versatile, willing to be flexible and accept new challenges

 

Additional Information:

Arm Internships require you to be enrolled in a higher education degree and be returning to your course after your internship/placement.  If you are graduating in 2025 you will not be eligible for an Intern role, but you will be eligible for our graduate roles. Our graduate roles will be advertised on the Arm Early Careers website Graduate Jobs at Arm.

 

Internship Start Dates: April and June.
