In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and integration of advanced firmware solutions for our cutting-edge maritime platforms. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from designing and implementing firmware architectures to testing and debugging complex software systems.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and integrate firmware solutions for various maritime systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects to ensure seamless integration of firmware components within the overall system architecture.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of firmware code, utilizing a range of tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for firmware designs, implementations, and test procedures.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in firmware development.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Three years or more of proven experience in firmware development for embedded systems, preferably within the maritime domain.
- Strong understanding of C/C++ programming languages and software development methodologies.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and hardware interfaces.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
