About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our Underwater Systems Services Sector at Thales UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the direction of our services, including the Maritime Sensors Enhancement Team (M-SET) project and other availability contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for product development across multiple major projects
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and end-users to drive continuous improvement in ways of working
  • Lead by example, ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees is our top priority
  • Manage the interface between UWS Operations and Centralised Service functions to maximise support to the Services Sector
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong naval background and significant experience in the Sensors and Sonars In-Service and Capability Development environment. You will have a track-record of driving performance and delivery, and possess the skills to deliver through influence rather than authority.

You will enjoy developing and performing through teamwork, and have the ability to question and challenge established processes to offer innovative alternatives.
