About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security policies, processes, and procedures are thorough and effective in safeguarding sensitive information systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement security controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and document findings, including potential impacts and statistical probability.
- Chair Technology Risk Management meetings and engage stakeholders to assign and track actions to remediate identified security risks.
- Carry out security due diligence for all critical suppliers and monitor the resolution of risks related to critical or sensitive information, systems, services, and processes.
- Previous experience in information security risk management.
- Working knowledge of security frameworks/standards e.g. ISO 27001, HMG Cyber Essentials or NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or other risk management certification.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- A hybrid working model.
