Role Overview
The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Pharmacy, maximizing dispensing and services, private services, OTC sales, and profitability. The successful candidate will also ensure that all staff working within the Pharmacy comply with statutory and/or professional obligations.
Key Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical pharmacy services, including Flu/Covid vaccination, with training provided.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and/or professional obligations.
- Leading the Pharmacy team to achieve business objectives.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve dispensing and services.
- Managing private services and OTC sales to maximize profitability.
Essential Criteria
The successful candidate will be a qualified Pharmacist registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland, with an up-to-date knowledge of changes within Pharmacy. Completion of any NICPLD/HSCB courses, which are compulsory components for delivery service, is also required. Additionally, the candidate must be eligible to work in the UK and provide proof of eligibility.
