Job Title: Lead Engineer

About the Role

The Lead Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design, development, governance, and maintenance of mission-critical non-production on-prem and cloud environments. This individual will leverage their extensive technical expertise and leadership skills to lead complex projects, mentor junior team members, and drive innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain non-production on-prem and cloud environments
  • Lead complex projects and mentor junior team members
  • Drive innovation and technical direction across the organization
  • Ensure high-quality solutions aligned with business goals
  • Continuously improve and innovate, exploring new technologies and approaches
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Significant experience in data centre operations, telecommunications, network engineering, data center applications, client/server computing
  • Proficient in specific technologies including Microsoft Server and Client operating systems and infrastructure applications, AWS Cloud, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Cisco and Networking, VMware, EMC a SANs
  • Background in scaled agile software delivery
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
