Senior Marine Engine Fitter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marine Engine Fitter to join our team at Gardline Group.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a skilled mechanical engineering and technical service for the marine workshop and company fleet of multi-role survey vessels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a high standard and quality of work in the marine workshop and on vessels
  • Repair and maintain the company's fleet of survey vessels, at any location worldwide
  • Carry out class machinery surveys as instructed by superintendents
  • Ensure that all Health, Safety & Environmental company policies are adhered to and promote safe working practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in marine engineering, with a focus on mechanical engineering
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality work
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
