Smart Solutions Recruitment is working in partnership with an award-winning training provider to recruit an NVQ Assessor- Health & Social Care: Level 2 and Level 3 on a permanent basis.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified NVQ Assessor to join our client's business in the North Wales region. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing learners working in a Health & Social Care Setting on a home-based role.

Key Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience of delivery within the required area of training
  • Experience of Work-Based Learning
  • Experience of Award Body practices
  • Qualified or with the potential and willingness to work towards – CAVA Qualification or equivalent qualification
  • ESW Communication Level 2 and Application of Number Level 2
  • Assessor experience
  • Health & Social Care occupational experience
  • NVQ delivery experience of Health & Social Care routes
  • Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
Core Duties:
  • Deliver training programmes to assigned learners/clients ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved
  • Covering a regional area, travelling to visit learners in workplace to undertake assessments- this will be carried out remotely for a temporary period
  • Contribute to the planning, monitoring and achievement of agreed performance targets
  • Develop course material to support the delivery requirements
  • Completion of learner attendance records and learners guided contact hours ensuring audit requirements are met
  • Maintain appropriate records of client's achievements and meet performance criteria as laid down by relevant awarding bodies
