About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team within the mental health service for older people at University Hospital Llandough. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with other professions in the team to deliver holistic assessment and interventions to optimise function and reduce risk for older people experiencing mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver occupationally focused interventions using a positive approach and management techniques, including cognitive rehabilitation.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapists and provide support to other members of the multi-professional team.
  • Work closely with other professions in the team to develop and implement service development initiatives and shape our service strategy within Occupational Therapy and the wider mental health service for older people.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy.
