We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the operations of our healthcare facility during a maternity leave period. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial operations in accordance with the business strategy, ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective credit control.
- Oversee human resources functions including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations while maintaining comprehensive staff records.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance standards and manage training for all staff to meet regulatory requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and positive workplace culture by building strong relationships within the team.
- Communicate effectively with practice owners regarding financial matters and administrative policies.
- Supervise staff performance, addressing training needs, attendance, and customer service standards.
- Coordinate with external service providers to ensure seamless operational processes.
- Implement health and safety protocols to safeguard staff and patients, adhering to established policies.
- Manage the practice's facilities, including insurance, security, and inventory management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze and improve financial performance.
- Excellent leadership skills, with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Knowledge of clinical governance and experience with compliance inspections.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Experience in managing practice facilities and resources effectively.
- Proficient in using healthcare management software.
