Job Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Cambridge, working on projects across the Higher Education and Science, Residential, Workspace and Warehouses and Logistics sectors.

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing project requirements, preparing designs and drawings, and planning projects to meet client specifications.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implement project requirements to fully meet the client specification in accordance with relevant standards
  • Prepare own discipline designs, drawings and schedules as identified in the Project Quality
  • Plan on assigned projects
  • Prepare / assist with the preparation of scheme evaluations, design statements, tender documents and any other reports identified in the Project Quality Plan on assigned projects
  • Design, manage and prepare /assist with interpretation of ground investigation contracts
  • Carry out other duties as identified in the Project Quality Plan on assigned projects
Requirements
  • Relevant degree relating to Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Previous experience of an engineering organisation
  • Experience working on building structures projects, design, calculations and consulting
  • 2 yrs minimum post grad experience
