We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Leader Education. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a Short Breaks centre based in the heart of Durham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with EHCP's, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
- Monitor and manage student's behaviour and wellbeing, supporting the development of social and emotional skills.
- Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, working collaboratively with the team.
