About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Wallace Hospital in Dundee, Scotland.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in a specialist high-dependency complex care service providing assessment and treatment for individuals with learning disabilities, with or without autistic spectrum disorder, as well as complex needs and behaviors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Hold supervisory responsibility for others and take a leadership role in specific projects
  • Support student education within the team
  • Contribute to the development of evidence-based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathways
