EMED Group is seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in the Telford & Shrewsbury areas.

As a key member of our Operations department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and equipment. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule with zero hour contract options, allowing you to balance your work commitments with other priorities.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Execute courier journeys to various locations, adhering to designated routes and timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate digital and manual documentation in accordance with legal requirements and company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the operations office using a range of communication systems.
  • Prioritize the safety and security of all items entrusted to your care.
  • Comply with all Road Traffic Act regulations and relevant legislation while operating a vehicle.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact at delivery points, relaying essential information to the operations office.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle checks before each use and promptly report any defects to the Operations Office.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and other road users.

  • Clear and legible handwriting.
Requirements:

You must hold a valid Full UK Manual Driving Licence for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
