Job Title: 15h Left 7.5 Tonne Driver

Job Description:

Advance Staff is currently recruiting for a 7.5t Driver to fill a role based in a logistics hub.

A successful candidate will hold a category C1 driving licence and have prior driving experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 7.5t vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload the vehicle in a timely manner
  • Adhere to the delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely to ensure all tasks are carried out in a professional manner
  • Perform daily vehicle safety checks, including tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls
  • Report any safety issues on standard reports
  • Interact with dispatchers and other stakeholders on a daily basis

Requirements:

  • Hold a category C1 driving licence
  • No more than 6 points on the driving licence
  • Be up to date with current driving laws and standards
  • Have prior experience driving a 7.5t vehicle
  • Be comfortable with strapping and securing loads when needed
