Job Summary:

Employment Specialists Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Reinsurance Technician to join their team. As a Senior Reinsurance Technician, you will be responsible for managing complex portfolios, overseeing client accounts, and providing guidance to less experienced colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client portfolios, including technical duties related to client accounts, premiums, and claims.
  • Assess and submit client and reinsurer presentation materials and communications.
  • Provide support and mentoring to less experienced colleagues.
  • Work with credit control to assist with collection of funds.
  • Manage all brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, post-booking receipt, payment of funds, and all management and transactional process steps.
  • Understand issues, resolve problems, and queries.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a Reinsurance technical role.
  • Successful management of workload with an ability to manage expectations of all clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to engage and negotiate with clients, market contacts, and colleagues in a professional manner.
