The ideal candidate will have experience in Reinsurance technical roles and be able to manage workload expectations of clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing client portfolios and technical duties relating to client accounts, premiums, and claims.
  • Assessing and submitting client and reinsurer presentation materials and communications.
  • Providing support and mentoring to less experienced colleagues.
  • Working with credit control to assist with collection of funds.
  • Managing all brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, post booking receipt, payment of funds, and all management and transactional process steps.
  • Understanding issues, resolving problems, and queries.

A successful Senior Reinsurance Professional will demonstrate:

  • Experience of working within a Reinsurance technical role.
  • Successful management of workload with an ability to manage expectations of all clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to engage and negotiate with clients, market contacts, and colleagues in a professional manner.
