- Support children to achieve their full potential and enjoy a fulfilling life, including participating in activities such as baking, outings, and holidays.
- Ensure the children's safety and well-being by monitoring their development and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, their families, and other professionals.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Patience, compassion, and resilience to work with children who may have experienced trauma.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- A driving license to transport children to various activities and appointments.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins, and be available for on-call duties.
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge in residential childcare.
