Social Media Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Officer to join our team at the Motor Neurone Disease Association. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for managing our social media channels, creating engaging content, and developing our online presence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with our brand and marketing objectives
- Manage and maintain our social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Create high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience
- Monitor and respond to social media conversations, ensuring timely and effective engagement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure coordinated and effective social media activities
- Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on social media best practices
- Develop and maintain social media metrics and analytics to inform future planning
- Significant experience managing social media platforms in a professional setting
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content that speaks to diverse audiences
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, balancing deadlines and priorities with ease
- Strong relationships-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of digital accessibility and social media trends
- Comfortable using data to inform future planning and decision-making
- 28 days holiday, rising to 33 days after 5 years' service, plus Bank Holidays
