We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse within the Critical Care unit. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a prestigious department renowned for its excellence in specialized clinical care, research, and education.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the on-call rota for Stroke services. This role is ideal for nurses aiming to advance their careers in a leading teaching hospital with significant experience in complex surgical procedures and interventional techniques.
Department Highlights
The Critical Care unit is among the largest in the region, celebrated for its friendly, diverse, and inclusive team environment, supported by exceptional surgical colleagues. The department is committed to delivering comprehensive elective and emergency services across various surgical specialties.
Main Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the role will be based within the Critical Care unit, with the understanding that flexibility is required to work across multiple facilities within the Trust.
Clinical Duties
This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care in the Critical Care unit. The position allows for flexible scheduling, enabling the nurse to maintain proficiency in various areas of critical care. The post-holder will also be responsible for providing non-resident on-call support for critical procedures.
