About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Canteen Chef to join our team at Hilton Hotels. As a Canteen Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent great food production, in line with Hilton's quality standards
  • Perform tasks within a timely manner to maintain a smooth kitchen operation
  • Provide support to the kitchen brigade to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes within company guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Assist other departments as needed to maintain good working relationships
  • Report any maintenance, hygiene, or hazard issues to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • NVQ Level 1 in Food Preparation and Cooking
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • A passion for learning and a drive to succeed in a culinary career
  • Proof of completion in a basic food hygiene course
