Building Surveyor Opportunity

Frankham Consultancy Group is seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to contribute to our Infrastructure Engineering team. As a Building Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering condition surveys and professional property inspection services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and properties
  • Assess construction types and materials, as well as mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Systems
  • Utilize Atrium/Trimble software and SDE computer systems for efficient data management
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to flexible working hours, including weekends and night shifts
  • Hold a full UK driving license
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • STE 5 qualification (training provided if required)
  • Leadership skills and ability to develop surveying teams
  • Knowledge of the railway industry and possession planning
  • Specialized certifications (PTS, DRA, Asbestos awareness, confined space awareness, working at height)
  • Rail safety critical competence (COSS, ES, SWL1/2)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
