Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

Architectural Decorators Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective financial management of contracts awarded to our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Price tender enquiries by conducting site visits, taking condition survey photographs, and measuring works where necessary.
  • Provide monthly valuations/accounts, ensuring all records of variations are received on time.
  • Ensure that rates negotiated for works carried out by sub-contractors include all necessary safety requirements.
  • Provide clients with price estimates for additional works.
  • Assist in the completion of contract performance assessment sheets upon completion of works.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
  • Experience working in a Quantity Surveyor role in the construction industry.
  • Quantity Surveying qualification.
  • Full driving license.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fully computer literate with experience using Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Confident in building rapport with clients and colleagues.
Package:
  • Salary - £40,000 + vehicle allowance.
  • Hours – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1hr for lunch).
  • 21 days of holiday + bank holidays and Christmas closure.
  • Birthday day off.
  • Phone for business use.
Additional Information:
  • A DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the company's expense.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Six-month probationary period.
  • At the interview stage, you will be required to complete an aptitude test.
