About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team at Joshua Robert Recruitment. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects, providing expert advice and overseeing all aspects of building surveying.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough building surveys, condition assessments, and prepare comprehensive reports to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
  2. Manage refurbishment, renovation, and repair projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery to meet client expectations.
  3. Provide expert guidance on building defects, repairs, and health and safety matters to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. Engage in client relationship management, including business development and networking to identify new opportunities and grow our client base.
  5. Mentor and support junior surveyors, contributing to their professional growth and the success of the team.

Requirements:

  1. MRICS qualified with extensive experience in building surveying.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of building construction, pathology, and compliance.
  3. Proven experience in managing projects and delivering client-focused services.
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  5. Proficiency in relevant surveying software and technology.
