Foreign Exchange Solutions Architect

Company: Hawksworth

Contract: Day rate position

Onsite Requirement: 3 days per week

Hawksworth is seeking a talented individual to assist in establishing the business process modeling and strategic roadmaps for their Foreign Exchange trading operations, which are undergoing significant transformation.

The organization is enhancing its Front Office and Back Office technology stack with a strong emphasis on digital innovation, including the development of advanced services and APIs, alongside a transition towards a data-centric model and an acceleration of Cloud and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop enterprise architecture frameworks specific to FX.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of FX operations from front to back, including eFX brokerage systems.
  • Demonstrate a profound understanding of Foreign Exchange, Precious Metals, and Carbon markets, including market structures, stakeholders, and software providers.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of post-trade activities such as confirmation and settlement processes.
  • Address data governance challenges and their practical applications.
  • Understand the modularity of information systems through APIs, data exchange standards, and data products.
  • Facilitate migration strategies to both private and public Cloud environments.
