Job Description for Accounts Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client, Pertemps Redditch Commercial, in the Bromsgrove area. This is an office-based role with a Monday-to-Friday schedule, working hours from 9am to 5pm.

Duties of Accounts Assistant:
  • Reconcile company accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Manage credit control processes to minimize outstanding payments.
  • Efficiently resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
  • Liaise with internal sales teams to ensure timely payments and agreed terms.
  • Proactively clarify fine details regarding queries to ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage sales and purchase ledgers to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Produce and analyze accounts reports to inform business decisions.
  • Support junior team members in their financial roles.
Key Skills and Attributes:
  • Previous experience in accounts, finance, or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and liaise with internal stakeholders.
