Job Overview

Spectrum Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team of experts in creating cutting-edge solutions for major enterprise clients. As a key member of our backend development team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of our sophisticated internal trading platform using TypeScript and other modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend features using TypeScript, working within a Monorepo setup.
  • Utilize GitHub, Jest, Playwright, React, Redis, SQL, WebSockets, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions to enhance the platform's functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand and implement their requirements.
  • Contribute to the automation of tests to ensure robust and reliable code.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
  • Take full ownership of the features you deploy, ensuring smooth integration into staging and production environments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of professional programming experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with TypeScript or Flow.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Ability to work flexibly, with options to work from home or in office locations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with functional programming languages such as OCaml or Haskell is a plus.
