Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at NPA WorldWide. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems using C# and ASP.NET or.NET Core.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve backend systems using C# and ASP.NET or.NET Core.
  • Work with Azure to optimize cloud-based solutions.
  • Participate in Agile practices, including daily standups, 2-week sprints, and peer reviews.
  • Enhance and debug existing codebases, with a focus on improving poorly documented systems.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in C#: Extensive experience in backend development using C#.
  • Framework Expertise: Strong knowledge of ASP.NET or.NET Core.
  • Cloud Experience: Solid experience with Azure and its backend development tools.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile practices, including daily standups, 2-week sprints, and peer reviews.
  • Engineering Process Experience: Proven track record of working in structured engineering environments with solid processes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work with and improve poorly documented or messy codebases.
  • Experience in the UK: Must have been working in England for a few years, with a good understanding of the local industry standards.
  • Product Company Background: Preferably from a product-focused company rather than a consultancy.
  • In-Office Work: Willingness to work 1-2 days a week in the office.
  • No Sponsorship Available: Must have the right to work in the UK.
