About the Role

Norit Activated Carbon is a leading global supplier of innovative activated carbon solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in Northern UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and drive sales of Norit products within the designated territory, achieving target levels of revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve desired results, including volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans, and market analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive business growth.
  • Effectively communicate and negotiate complex sales contracts, educating customers on new products and product enhancements.
  • Identify new market opportunities and target builds, seeking out competitive information to stay ahead in the market.
  • Lead Norit's efforts to establish excellence in sales and distributor management, customer service, and business development.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to management in setting strategic initiatives and programs to achieve corporate goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of external sales experience, preferably in the activated carbon industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Norit's products and applications, as well as commercial skills and market understanding.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity.
