Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team in Newcastle.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting. This will involve creating a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment that promotes children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum in accordance with children's needs and abilities.
  • Support children's learning and development through play-based activities and experiences.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Monitor children's progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet their individual needs.
  • Contribute to the development of a nurturing and supportive team culture that promotes excellence in childcare and education.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Level 3 Early Years or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working in a pre-school setting or similar environment.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS and child development principles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the nursery and its children.
