At Human Appeal, we are pleased to present a rewarding opportunity for a Programmes Administrative Coordinator to become a vital part of our team. This position is based in a collaborative office environment. The role is offered on a full-time basis under an initial fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent position. The compensation for this role ranges from £22,525 to £30,475.

Role Overview:

As the Programmes Administrative Coordinator, the selected candidate will be essential in providing comprehensive administrative support to the Director and Associate Director of Programmes. This includes managing their schedules, communications, travel arrangements, and accommodations, as well as assisting in organizing meetings and taking minutes. This role is crucial for ensuring that the Directors' responsibilities and activities are effectively coordinated, thereby contributing to the overall success and operational efficiency of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Directors' schedules and activities, prioritizing tasks to avoid conflicts.
  • Arrange all travel logistics, including accommodations, in a timely manner and within budget constraints.
  • Deliver a high-quality administrative service to the Directors, including minute-taking and action follow-ups.
  • Be readily available to provide additional administrative support as needed.
  • Respond promptly to emails, requests, and meeting arrangements.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree-educated in relevant fields such as Social Sciences or International Development, with a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications.
  • At least one year of prior administrative experience.
  • A strong understanding and passion for the International Development sector.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly in the MS Office Suite.
  • A genuine interest and knowledge of the international development landscape.
