About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As an HR Advisor, you will provide proactive, client-focused service, providing comprehensive and effective advice and guidance to managers. You will actively develop the skills and competencies of managers, working closely with Senior HR Advisors and Senior HR Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and support to line managers within Clinical Service Units and Corporate Functions.
- Interpret policy and employment legislation to provide advice and guidance to meet the range of situations presented.
- Contribute to and lead on specific HR projects and activities as directed.
Person Specification
- Good general education, educated to degree level standard.
- Possess or willing to work towards membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) through postgraduate study or equivalent.
- Several years experience in operational HR.
- Insight into, and experience of, the various key dimensions and responsibilities of the role.
- Current Employment Law.
- Good practice and legislation on diversity.
- Experience of working with confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience of working within a customer-focused environment.
