About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Commercial team at Linkster Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our key national accounts, driving sales growth and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing business clients to ensure service levels are met
  • Present new products to potential and existing clients
  • Manage account relationships, negotiate prices, and understand client businesses and goals
  • Identify and capitalize on sales growth opportunities
  • Manage product cost prices, develop customer joint business plans, and handle customer inquiries
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
  • Deliver forecast customer volume, net sales, and margin goals for relevant clients
Requirements
  • Experience in account management with major retailers
  • Background in FMCG, Food Production, or Drinks sectors
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in the MS Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Resilience, drive, and a focus on career advancement
What We Offer
  • Standard office hours from Monday to Friday, with a hybrid working model allowing for one day of remote work per week
  • Salary up to £47,000 per year, depending on experience, with performance bonuses of up to £2,000 per year (£500 per quarter) and a car allowance
