About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Materials Consultant to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our consultancy, you will work on a range of experimental and desk-based projects for customers in the nuclear industry, including power generators, radioactive waste management, and aerospace developers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy desk-based and lab/analytical capabilities to assess, rationalise and document solutions for materials science, radiation physics and chemistry problems.
  • Access to our in-house gamma-irradiation facility to oversee experiments/tests and enable access for clients.
  • Demonstrate and promote high levels of health and safety in all aspects of the role.
  • Lead the production of high-quality technical reports and review data/information produced by the team.
  • Lead successful interactions with clients, including presentation of key results and their interpretation.
  • Contribute to business development activities and project management.
