About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our HSEQ team at Ramboll. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving a change in safety culture and helping us lead our organisation on its continuous improvement journey.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the business to strengthen its health and safety culture
  • Provide guidance and expertise to the business and project teams regarding H&S issues
  • Provide advice on specialist areas such as CDM regulations, risk assessments for engineering design projects
  • Provide H&S input to bids and tenders
  • Plan, carry out and report on internal H&S audits on office facilities and projects
  • Provide expertise in the identification, evaluation and control of safety, health, environmental, CDM and operational risks
  • Review and maintain H&S procedures and guidance
  • Investigate incidents and near misses; establish root causes and implement corrective/preventive measures
  • Assist with external audits where necessary
  • Keep up to date with legislation and other requirements and maintain an up to date legal register
  • Evaluation of suppliers from a H&S perspective
  • Collation and production of KPI reporting for HSEQ systems
  • Provide guidance and expertise to the business regarding ISO45001

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Health and Safety Advisor with a strong background in H&S and a proven track record of driving safety culture improvements. You will have a degree in a relevant field and hold relevant certifications such as NEBOSH National General/Construction certificates. You will also be a member of a relevant professional body, such as IOSH.
