D1 Minibus Operator

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Minibus Driver to join our team in the Rochester area. As a Minibus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students with special educational needs (SEN) to and from schools, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive a Minibus safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Assist passengers with SEN, providing emotional and physical support as needed.
- Work collaboratively with a Passenger Assistant to ensure a smooth and safe journey.
- Report for duty at designated times, including morning and afternoon shifts.
- Meet the required hours of work, including a guaranteed 6 hours per day and 30 hours per week.
- Valid CPC and Tacho card.
- Driving Licence with D1/D entitlement.
- Enhanced DBS check (we can provide this for free if needed).
- Hourly rate: £15.00.
- 28 days paid holiday per year (pro-rata for PAYE).
- 24hr on-call support.
